About me

Working for the last 25 years as a consulting designer-project manager with a construction and architectural interiors background has enabled me to accept a variety of project types and personally follow these through all phases, from site acquisition, lease negotiations, compliance, design, and project management to construction, supporting my numerous clients in achieving their goals.

I recognise that all clients face a constant challenge in balancing the cost for their requirements and quality design with the end project value. I pride myself on managing these challenges through disciplined cost transparency and creative solutions around building and compliance constraints, while maintaining the design principles on which we base our reputation.

I have been privileged to have worked with everyone from innovative start-ups to international corporations and I know how important it is to establish and maintain good client, consultant and contractor relations.

Over the last few years I have focused mainly on smaller-scale office, bank, retail, hospitality, residential, factory, aged-care, and health projects, with many undertaken in centres throughout New Zealand for both local and overseas clients.

I have worked with Joey Groves for over six years. During that time he has completed 19 major and numerous minor projects for Rabobank throughout New Zealand. Joey’s architectural design skills, project management and attention to detail and cost control are outstanding. Every project has been completed to the highest standard and on time. I have no hesitation recommending Joey Groves for any project you are considering.
